An informative presentation titled "Gerontologist Competencies: Skills, Responsibility, and Professional Identity" was given to first-year students in the Gerontology Department of Balıkesir University's Faculty of Health Sciences.
The presentation, delivered by Gerontologists Tolunay ŞAHİN and Reşat UZMANER from Balıkesir Atatürk City Hospital, addressed the fundamental field practices of gerontologists, their institutional workspaces, and professional development opportunities. Students were provided with a comprehensive perspective on the professional practice areas of gerontology.
