The 2025-2026 Academic Year Opening Ceremony of Balıkesir University

The 2025–2026 Academic Year Opening Ceremony of Balıkesir University was held at the Şehit Fethi Sekin Conference Hall of the Atatürk Congress and Culture Center, with the honor and attendance of the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye (TBMM), Mr. Numan Kurtulmuş.
During the ceremony, Mr. Kurtulmuş delivered the opening lecture titled “The Quest for Global Justice” The program was attended by academics, students, and numerous distinguished guests.
Faculty members of the Department of Gerontology, Asst. Prof. Dr. A. Gülay Şahan and Asst. Prof. Dr. Aslı Gözde Akış, along with the department’s students, also participated in the ceremony.
