The “Balıkesir Congress on Academic Research in Health Sciences”, organized by our faculty, was held between October 10–12, 2025, with the participation of numerous national and international attendees both in person and online.
Dr. Özge Ertürk, a faculty member of the Department of Gerontology, served as the Chair of the Organizing Committee, while Assist. Prof. Dr. Aslı Gözde Akış and Assist. Prof. Dr. Ayşe Gülay Şahan contributed to the event as session chairs.
Our first-year Gerontology students also took part in various organizational duties, contributing to the successful completion of the congress.
