Tracing the Past, Hoping for the Future: Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş Met with Faculty Members of the Department of Gerontology and Students of BAUN Refreshment University.

Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş participated in the “Tracing the Past, Hoping for the Future” program held at Balıkesir Nursing Home.
As part of the event, Minister Göktaş visited the Balıkesir University 60+ Refreshment University stand and received information about the activities from Rector Prof. Dr. Yücel Oğurlu.
In addition to Vice-Rector Prof. Dr. Cevdet Avcıkurt, our department’s faculty members Dr. Aslı Gözde Akış and Dr. A. Gülay Şahan, as well as Refreshment University students, were present at the program. During the event, Minister Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş took a commemorative photo with the Refreshment University students she spoke with.
